Infrared means "Having or employing wavelengths longer than light but shorter than radio waves; lying outside the visible spectrum at its red end." So Infrared Photography is weird and strange in the sense that it relies on the aptitude of the camera to record what is not visible to the eye by capturing infrared emission instead of images.
